‘Special’ Leeds player is pushing to leave Elland Road before deadline day with signing lined up
Leeds United have endured a really tough summer transfer window as they’ve had to contend with a number of key departures.
Star player Crysencio Summerville left for West Ham United earlier this month and now Georginio Rutter is the latest man to depart Elland Road.
Archie Gray joined Tottenham at the start of July and has since been replaced by Joe Rothwell, who joined on a season-long loan deal from Bournemouth.
After a quiet few weeks regarding incomings, Leeds have now made their move to replace Summerville as they close in on the signing of Almeria winger Largie Ramazani.
Though, his expected arrival could see WIlfried Gnonto leave…

Wilfried Gnonto pushing to leave Leeds United
Leeds United are on the verge of signing Largie Ramazani after they agreed a total package worth £10m with the Spanish outfit.
The former Manchester United academy star is viewed as a Summerville replacement, though, it’s now just emerged that Gnonto is pushing to leave, according to .
Gnonto has been linked to Everton this summer and was subjected to a £23m bid which the Whites quickly knocked back.
The Italy international pushed to leave this time last year but, again, a move to Goodison Park failed to materialise.
It remains to be seen if Leeds will allow him to depart in the remaining eight days of the window.
Newcastle and Nottingham Forest keen on Wilfried Gnonto
TBR reported in July that Newcastle joined the race to sign Gnonto and it’s thought they remain in the market for an attacker.
Nottingham Forest even made a bid for Gnonto, who’s been labelled ‘special’ per , but that too was evidently rejected by The Whites, who are desperate to keep him in West Yorkshire.
A telling week lies ahead.
