Southampton’s bid for Adams is good news for Tottenham’s hopes of selling Janssen
Burnley want to improve their firepower before the end of the January transfer window,
They that Sean Dyche is eyeing up both Birmingham City hotshot Che Adams and Tottenham outcast Vincent Janssen to boost his frontline in the bid to beat survival.
But Southampton have made the first concrete move in the chase for Blues forward Adams, , tabling an £8m bid.
And that is good news for Tottenham, who are desperate to offload Janssen this month as he no longer forms part of their plans.

And if Southampton have stolen a march over Adams, Dyche may transfer his attention onto Janssen and ramp up their interest in a player who has no future at Spurs.
Getting rid of Janssen may well fund a bid for new blood, or at least get his wages off the bill to save Spurs some money as they look ahead to their move into a new stadium, the revamped White Hart Lane.
But without putting Janssen in the shop window by playing him, it’s tough to see how Tottenham are going to drum up interest, so if Burnley are keen, Daniel Levy cannot let the opportunity pass.
