‘He’s fearless’: BBC pundit blown away by Arsenal star who’s so ‘difficult to play against’
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka staked a claim for a regular England starting spot on Tuesday night.
The Gunners ace has risen to the top of the English game over the past two years.
Saka, a Hale End graduate, made his breakthrough in 2019-20 and followed it up with a superb 2020-21.
He made 46 appearances for Arsenal last season, registering seven goals and 10 assists.
And despite the Gunners suffering a dismal campaign, Saka was one of their few shining lights throughout.

Gareth Southgate rewarded the 19-year-old with a spot in the England Euro 2020 team.
The Three Lions boss started Saka in Tuesday’s game against Czech Republic and he justified his inclusion.
He brought England’s attack to life with a bright display on the right flank, and started the move which led to the Three Lions’ winner.
Saka took on his full-back whenever he could, and showed plenty of energy and confidence throughout the encounter.

“He’s fearless”
Speaking after the game, BBC Sport pundit and England legend Chris Waddle hailed the Arsenal man.
“Bukayo Saka is very positive,” he said ().
“He likes to take people on, he’s got vision, he’s got pace.
“I just think he gives something we’ve been looking for.
“Energy, takes people on, takes risks and he’d be difficult to play against whoever they play against.
“He’s young, he’s fearless and it shows the way he plays.
“You can tell he’s enjoying it, he probably thought he wouldn’t be in this tournament and he’s one of those who we say go out and enjoy this tournament and he is.”
