So, what has Gabriel Agbonlahor said about Kieran Trippier? Let’s take a look.

Gabriel Agbonlahor comments on Kieran Trippier rumour

Well, Newcastle United right-back Kieran Trippier has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

has reportꦏed that Bayern have had an initial offer for Trippier turned down.

The reigning Bundesliga champions, who recen𒊎tly signed Eric Dier from Totteꦅnham Hotspur, will make a new bid for former Sp💙urs right-back Tr🥃ippier.

Agbonlahor said on : “Seems odd, doesn’t it? Kieran Trippi🦩er to Bayern Munich? It has been reported that he is open to the move.

“Captain of Newcastle, looks like he is happy there, something doesn’t add up here, mate൲. Is there something else we don’t know about?💎”

The pundit added: “This🐟 doesn’t look right. Your captain, Newcastle should be coming ouꦓt and saying, ‘No chance’. And he shouldn’t want to leave the project Newcastle have got going on.

“✤Something’s going on. 33 years of age, he is going through a tough spell, but you are the captain.

“Why would you want to l𓆏eave and go to Bayern Munich with the project that Newcastle have got? Doesn’t make sense to me.”

My View: Bayern Munich hugely appealing for Kieran Trippier

I fully und🐼erstand why Ki♉eran Trippier would be keen on a move to Bayern Munich.

Bayern are one of the biggest and most🐬 historic clubs in the world who are aiming to win the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League this season.

Yes, Newcastle are a big club as well and are lofty ambitions under owners Saudi Arabia’s Public Investm❀en🧔t Fund (PIF), but Bayern are used to winning major trophies year after year. The Magpies are not at that level yete.

I think that any player, and not just Trippier, would find a transfer t✱o Bayern very appealing.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood does not think that Tri▨ppier will leave Newcastle in January.

Sherwood said on (20/01/24 at 2:25 pm), as transcribed by :🀅 “I don’t think he would🌳 go. Why would you let him go because he isn’t going to bring you a lot of money?

“They are going to need to sell 🔯players. They are going to need to s🅷ell Bruno Guimaraes or an Isak.

“They don’t want to lose any of them🦂, but what are Bayern going to pay for Kieran? It’s going to be nothing really in the scheme of things. It’s not going to help their financiꦬal fair play situation, so they need to be selling Guimaraes.

“I wou👍ldn’t sell this boy. He is a leader. A top, t༒op draw player. Even though he makes mistakes, you know that he is a genuine character.”
