Some Tottenham Hotspur fans react to Ryan Mason achieving two Spurs feats last achieved by Harry Redknapp

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on social media, after Ryan Mason became the first Spurs boss since Harry Redknapp to win each of their first three home league matches by beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 on Sunday.

Mason has now over Southampton, Sheffield United and Wolves in north London, since being appointed as the caretaker head coach () following Daniel Levy’s decision to fire Jose Mourinho ahead of the Carabao Cup final.

It took Mourinho until his in charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to achieve three home wins, while his predecessor Mauricio Pochettino after defeats to Liverpool, West Brom, Newcastle and Stoke.

Mason is the first Tottenham head coach to win their first three home league matches since Redknapp in November 2008 (), while Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood including his as the Portuguese’s successor.

Redknapp was hired by Spurs in October 2008 and with wins over Bolton, Liverpool and Blackburn, before enjoying a four-year stay in north London that featured guiding the club into their first Champions League appearance () in 2010.

Tottenham beating Wolves on Sunday also saw Mason achieve the feat of becoming the first Spurs boss to beat the Molineux natives at home , with one draw and two defeats following.
