Some Tottenham Hotspur fans reacted after AC Milan reportedly made Serge Aurier their backup right-back target.

According to , the Italians have made the Ivorian their second choice in case a move for Diogo Dalot fails. However, the giants are yet to make contact with Spurs over a move.

Meanwhile, the Manchester United player spent last season on loan with the Serie A outfit, helping them qualify for the Champions League.

The Red Devils have rejected Milan’s offer of renewing the loan offer with the option to purchase. As a result, they could move for the Spurs defender.

It would be foolish for Tottenham to retain the player especially as they close in on Takehiro Tomiyasu.

The versatile defender is set to move to north London and is a marked upgrade on the right-back.

Then there is Aurier’s poor decision-making, which has in the past cost the club.
