Some Tottenham fans react to news about Lautaro Martinez
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans were reacting after news of a new contract for Lautaro Martinez emerged.
What’s the story?
According to , Internazionale have scheduled a meeting for next week with the player and his agent. The Italian outfit are desperate to extend the ace’s current deal.
And it seems the feeling is mutual if you go by the latest comments from the centre-forward’s agent.
Speaking to TyC Sports (), Alejandro Camaño has said his client won’t leave the club. He went on to then claim the star ‘really loves’ Inter.

Tottenham running out of options
Tottenham seem to be running out of viable centre-forwards to sign after the latest Martinez news.
As well as the 23-year-old, another of their targets may well be slipping through their fingers.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly preparing a £42m bid for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic; another Tottenham target.
So, where does this leave the club?
is also a target, however, after losing Lionel Messi, you feel Barcelona will want to retain the Frenchman.
It seems bad news has been around the corner at every turn for the north Londoners in their search for a striker.
The market is short of elite forwards as it is, so missing out on Martinez and potentially Vlahovic would be a hammer blow.
Here is how some Tottenham fans reacted to the news…
My question is… HOW?!

Dude they need money BADLY! Question I have is this:
If its true the creditors are running the clubs finances, and knowing this guy can bring in some good coin for them, why would they give this guy a new contract?
How can this be the case if inter needs to balance their books

We knew this anyway, guess we just move on now

This is boring I bet he signs a new contract

It would appear we’ve been used… Lautaro was ‘only’ on £40,000 p/w, and were probably reluctant to give out raises given their financial issues, so Lautaro’s camp leveraged the Spurs offer, feeding the press stories about his desire to join to get him a new deal.
