Some Tottenham fans ask Carlos Vinicius question as Spurs lose to Leicester
It’s back-to-back defeats in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur, who have lost 2-0 at Leicester City.
Jose Mourinho’s side have lost more ground on leaders Liverpool – 0-7 victors against Crystal Palace yesterday – after putting in an awful performance in north London.

Leicester City went ahead just before the half-time whistle – Jamie Vardy converting a penalty after a needless foul on Wesley Fofana by Serge Aurier.
The Foxes then started superbly in the second half, and doubled their lead on 59 minutes with Toby Alderweireld putting into his own net.
The visitors were superior to Spurs in every department, and Brendan Rodgers deserves great credit for the way he set his team up.
Spurs really struggled, and there were even off days for Heung-min Son and Harry Kane.
That was picked up on by some Spurs fans, who have been questioning Mourinho’s decision not to put Carlos Vinicius on.

The Brazilian has played just 12 minutes in the league so far, and some are struggling to understand why he was not given a chance against the Foxes – Harry Winks coming as the last substitute a particular frustration for some.
In their eyes, Mourinho missed a trick not calling on the South American when he might have offered something different:
Why not bring on Vinicius instead of Winks?? He put on Winks just to appease him…..not a good way to manage and don’t agree with his subs today! Didn’t like the first 11 with LoCelso!! Just a bad match!

Would like to see Vinicius play more. Can tell that the load Harry and Son have had to take on recently, they’ve just lacked the energy we are used to seeing

Serious question. How does Kane stay on? Vinicius should’ve been given a chance. Kane has looked off all week.

This 100% on Jose for me and the substitution of Winks when we are 2-0 down with Vinicius on the bench is absolutely pathetic from Jose
