Some Liverpool fans desperate for 22-year-old to start against Burnley
Liverpool host Burnley on Saturday in the Premier League – and some Reds fans on Twitter claim they would love to see Ibrahima Konate start.
The Merseyside club kickstarted their league season with an impressive 3-0 away win at Norwich City last weekend, but are back at Anfield in a couple of days time.
The Reds currently have a squad that isn’t too damaged by injuries right now, albeit key left-back Andy Robertson is sidelined. Therefore, there is so much talent for manager Jurgen Klopp to pick from.
Liverpool, who will be playing in front of a packed out Anfield, are preparing for an experienced Burnley team that are extremely well schooled in the top flight.

Burnley test would be big welcome to the Premier League for Konate
A selection of Liverpool supporters on social media want to see summer signing Konate make his competivie debut for the club on Saturday.
The centre-back has tough competition within the Reds squad for a starting role. Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip were the starting pair in the heart of defence against Norwich.
However, the 22-year-old has a great reputation from his time at previous club RB Leipzig.
He looks ready physically to handle English football, but it would be some challenge to be put against the likes of Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes in his first match.
Here are some Reds fans asking for Konate to play:
