Some Leeds fans wowed by ‘unplayable’ 24-year-old after Everton draw
Leeds United recorded a thrilling 2-2 draw at home to Everton on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were left raving about the performance of their star Raphinha.
The Whites earned their first point of the Premier League season by coming from behind twice in front of a packed Elland Road.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s penalty put visitors Everton ahead on the half hour mark before Mateusz Klich equalised before half time.
Demarai Gray restored the Toffees advantage in the second period. However, Raphinha netted a sublime goal in the 72nd minute to level the contest up.
Raphinha, 24, hit a trademark curling finish with his favoured left foot to spark wild celebrations.
The Brazilian winger was a threat throughout the 90 minutes and he’s looking to build on what was an excellent debut season last year in Yorkshire.

Raphinha shows Leeds fans what he’s made of against Everton
Leeds fans have mostly watched Raphinha’s first year with the club on the television screen, but he got to shine in front of an Elland Road audience at the weekend.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side had to work extremely hard against a strong Everton opposition for the draw.
A selection of Leeds supporters on social media named Raphinha as an excellent performer from the game, so it’s clear he’s a real fan favourite.
He burst into life after his goal and is definitely someone that can thrive off a live audience.
