Some Leeds fans react as O’Hara and Sherwood want Marcelo Bielsa at Tottenham
Both Jamie O’Hara and Tim Sherwood have urged Tottenham Hotspur to consider Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa this summer as Jose Mourinho’s replacement at the North London club – and Leeds fans have responded.
Mourinho was sacked earlier in the week by Tottenham, and has since been replaced by Ryan Mason on an interim basis. The 29-year-old manager won his first match in charge, as Spurs came from behind to beat Southampton.
The likes of Julian Nagelsmann, Brendan Rodgers, Marcelino, Roberto Martinez, Eddie Howe and plenty of others have been linked with the Tottenham job. But Bielsa is out of contract and many Spurs fans are tempted by him.
Tottenham-supporting pundits have considered Bielsa as a possible arrival, too. O’Hara suggested that Spurs are “bigger than Leeds” and that is why Bielsa might be tempted, while ex-Spurs boss Sherwood picked the Argentine.

: “I would say Bielsa. I think he’d be absolutely brilliant and the fans would love him. If you can try and prise him away form there it’d be unbelievable. There would be uproar but Spurs are bigger than Leeds.”
: “I would pick Bielsa. He is a big manager, everyone would love him at Spurs – not sure Daniel Levy would. Daniel likes communication, not sure they would communicate too well.”
Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to the comments made by both Sherwood and O’Hara on Twitter. Many have laughed off Tottenham’s chances of getting their manager, who has guided Leeds to a lofty tenth place.

Why are Spurs fans making out Bielsa would walk over hot coals to join them? He'd hate everything about that club and its owner.

Why would Bielsa go to Tottenham? Leeds are a bigger club.

In what world is Spurs a perfect fit for Bielsa. Their owner for a start has no Morales.
Has anyone actually paid attention to Bielsa and his principles? His reasonings as to why he goes where he does? Why he chose a 13th placed Championship side as his Project. Research people
