Some Leeds fans congratulate Sol Bamba after defender reveals ‘cancer-free’ diagnosis
Some Leeds United fans have been congratulating former Whites defender Sol Bamba after the ace announced he was free from cancer.
In a statement on his , the Cardiff City defender claimed that he was cancer-free as he thanked the masses for their messages of support.
It was announced back in January that the center-half had started treatment after he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Bamba enjoyed a fairly decent spell at Elland Road, over the course of his loan spell and subsequent permanent transfer.
The Ivory Coast international made quite the impact at the Yorkshire club, being named captain back in 2015 after making his temporary spell a permanent one.
