Some Everton fans react to report club may hire new manager without Premier League experience
Some Everton fans have been reacting on social media to reports by the , who claim Farhad Moshiri is willing to hire a new manager who has no prior Premier League experience.
The Toffees’ owner is set to appoint his after Carlo Ancelotti . The Italian was Moshiri’s fourth head coach since three months after in the club in 2016.
All four of Moshiri’s appointments have previously worked in the Premier League before joining Everton. Ancelotti spent two seasons with Chelsea before spells with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Napoli.

Ancelotti’s predecessor, Marco Silva, worked for Watford before moving to Goodison Park. While Ronald Koeman joined after working at Southampton and his replacement, Sam Allardyce, had previously been at five top-flight clubs.
But Moshiri is willing to take a gamble and now appoint a manager who has no previous Premier League experience. It is not considered an essential factor in any potential head coach’s resume by the club’s decision-makers.
Director of Football Marcel Brands was contacted by more than 40 managers within 24 hours of Ancelotti leaving Everton. The club also opened talks with former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo after drawing up a shortlist on Wednesday.
The Portuguese is the front-runner to replace Ancelotti, but Everton will examine all options in search of their new manager.

But Everton fans reacting to the Liverpool Echo’s report on their club’s search for a new manager have offered mixed views.
That’s because some believe Moshiri is making the right decision by exploring coaches who have no Premier League experience. However, others fear the role Brands will have after the short-lived tenures of Ancelotti and Silva.
A clutch of supporters on social media have also offered their preferred candidates, such as River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo. The Argentine has been at the club since 2014 following his sole prior position at Club Nacional in Uruguay.
