Some Everton fans react to Lucas Digne performance in France draw
Lucas Digne completed 90 minutes on Saturday for France – and some Everton fans on Twitter were left impressed by his performance.
France surprisingly dropped points in a draw with Hungary in the Euro 2020 group stages.
Attila Fiola put underdogs Hungary in front on the stroke of half time. However, Antoine Griezmann equalised midway through the second half to earn a point for his country.
Reigning World Cup champions France are the pre-tournament favourites at the Euros, but suffered a minor setback at the weekend.

Everton fans proud of France display from Digne
A selection of Everton supporters on social media were extremely positive about Digne’s contribution.
The 27-year-old full-back wasn’t defensively called upon too much. However, he saw plenty of the ball in offensive areas. He was also robbed of an assist when Kylian Mbappe missed an opportunity from his cross.
He’s an attack-minded left-back that didn’t play in France’s win over Germany in the opening group match, but did start against Hungary.
The full-back finished the 2020/21 season with seven assists in 36 games across all competitions for the Merseyside club.
The Everton ace will now hope for more minutes moving forward at the Euros, but he’s competing with Bayern Munich’s Lucas Hernandez for the starting left-back role at France.
