Some Celtic fans want the club to keep Odsonne Edouard after he scored the third goal in the club’s 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

The Bhoys went behind to the League One outfit after just three minutes thanks to former Rangers ace Josh Windass.

However, Ange Postecoglou’s men struck back with three goals of their own in the second and third period.

Captain on the day Albian Ajeti scored the opener before Owen Moffat and Odsonne Edouard struck.

Edouard has endured a frustrating summer from a personal point of view. The Frenchman thought he was heading to Leicester City with the Foxes in advanced talks over a deal. However, a deal fell through and the Midlanders signed African ace Patson Daka in the end.

As a result, he’s still with the club with just a year left on his current deal.

Edouard needs to clear his after crazy summer ahead of big season for Celtic

The last few months must’ve been quite the rollercoaster for the France youth international. He looked to be heading to the King Power Stadium before a move fell through, however, he needs to recover.

Postecoglou’s men have a massive season ahead of them especially after Rangers’ league title victory last campaign. Edouard needs to clear his head ahead of the campaign to avoid faltering given the fact he was he club’s top scorer.
