Some Aston Villa fans react as Kortney Hause’s performance against Norwich
Some Aston Villa fans have heaped praise on defender Kortney Hause after a solid display against Norwich City.
The £3 million permanent summer signing () was starting his third consecutive game in the absence of Tyrone Mings.
Alongside Ezri Konsa and in front of goalkeeper Tom Heaton, Hause was determined to shut out the Canaries at Villa Park, and was key in the home side taking all three points in a 1-0 victory.

After losing to Southampton, it was vital for Villa to get back to winning ways.
The result keeps them 18th, but they are now just one point behind West Ham United, whose rotten form continued with a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.
It was a great afternoon for Hause who, , made nine clearances, won all eight of his aerial duels and made three tackles.
He’s well and truly got the ball rolling for his season now after having to be patient in the beginning.

Dean Smith’s faith in Mings until his injury had been unwavering, and the manager has elected to cycle mainly between Konsa and Bjorn Engels as the England international’s partner.
But Hause has definitely now given him something to think about.
