Some Arsenal fans react to report claiming £140k-a-week Brazilian has been offered to Arteta on loan

A number of Arsenal fans have given their thoughts on the report in claiming Felipe Anderson has been offered on loan to the Gunners for £5million.

The Brazilian winger joined West Ham in 2018, the East Londoners paying Lazio a reported .

However, after flashes of promise in his first season and a tally of 10 goals and five assists in all competitions, Anderson flattered to deceive at the London Stadium last time out.

The 27-year-old scored just once and created only four assists in the Premier League in the 2019-20 season, and The Mirror speculates that he may welcome the opportunity of a fresh start.

Arsenal have been busy in the market this summer and have bolstered their ranks with the signings of Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes.

The Mirror suggested that, with the Gunners potentially looking to improve their options going forward, the opportunity to recruit Anderson could be tempting for Mikel Arteta.

That said, the outlet does also mention that, with a reported £140,000-a-week salary, it remains to be seen how the two clubs would agree on how much each would pay towards his wages.
