Some Arsenal fans disgusted after report over Roma valuation of Xhaka

Some Arsenal fans were left disgusted after a report emerged over a proposed valuation from Roma for Granit Xhaka amid talks over a transfer.

According to , the Serie A outfit are in talks to sign the midfielder with new boss Jose Mourinho keen on the Switzerland international.

However, the Giallirossi want to pay £10m plus bonuses for the ace, whereas Arsenal want £21.5m (€25m) to part with the player.

Xhaka has enjoyed one of the better seasons from Mikel Arteta’s squad of underperforming stars, earning a place in the CIES Premier League team of the season for 2020/2021.

He was lauded as Arsenal’s best midfielder by over two years ago.

Roma’s chase of Xhaka is worrying news for those associated with Arsenal, especially Mikel Arteta.

The Spaniard has entrusted the Swiss ace since he was appointed manager back in December. Xhaka has played in 45 games this season across all competitions, rarely missing a fixture this year.

His unbelievable fitness makes him a crucial player for the Gunners and thus an invaluable asset.
