Some Arsenal fans blown away by ‘the next big thing’ at Hale End, want him fast-tracked
Arsenal academy star Omari Hutchinson continues to dazzle for the Gunners Under-18s, with plenty of fans urging Mikel Arteta to consider him for first-team minutes in the coming months.
The 17-year-old attacker has registered an impressive nine goals and 10 assists from just 22 appearances for the U18s this season.
And on Friday, he was simply unplayable in the FA Youth Cup victory over West Ham, playing a part in all three of his side’s goals and causing havoc in the opposition defence.

Hutchinson opened the scoring on 26 minutes with a 20-yard strike into the bottom corner, the only goal of the first half.
Shortly after the restart, he cut inside from the right and let rip with an effort that struck the post, before Khayon Edwards netted on the rebound.
Hutchinson then won a penalty after being brought down by Jamal Baptiste – who was sent off – and duly converted from 12 yards out.
Although West Ham netted a late consolation through a defensive error, Arsenal weren’t to be denied a spot in the quarter-finals.
Another day, another Hutchinson masterclass, cue Gunners fans singing his praises on social media:
