Solskjaer delivers verdict as Tottenham sack Nuno
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ha༒s reacted to Tottenham sacking Nuno Espirito Santo in his latest press conference – by showing sympathy for his “colleague”.
Manchester United beat Tottenham 3-0 on Saturday evening in North London 🍒which ultimat🥃ely proved to by the final straw for Spurs.
Early on Monday, Spurs announced the sacking of Nuno – with Antonio Conte now 🐻expected to replace him. Conte had been linked with United.
Reports suggest that Conte is actually in London, thrashing out terms with Tottenham. It i💃s also claimed that he could manage Spurs against Vitesse.

But it was Solskjaer that struck the final blow into🐻 Nuno’s Tottenham spell – and he responded. He feels sorry for Nuno, who was working hard.
“It’s never nice to see good men lose the🃏ir jobs, he’s been working ha🍌rd and I don’t know what the situation is at Tottenham,”
“But as a🧔 colleague, you are never happy when that happens. You try to get in touch with him and tell him your feelings.”
Solskjaer on Nuno: Tottenham gaffer perhaps slightly hard done by

But ultimately, Nuno was doomed the moment he took the job. That is because he was so faꦫr down the list, he never had any confidence.
That is, conviction from himself 🐓– or confidence from the fans. It appears, there was ꦜa lack of confidence in the ex-Wolves man from upstairs, too.
But for Nuno, it was hardly all his fault. He tried different things, but 🧸a lack of effort from the players – or belief – contributed to his sacking.
He should feel hard done by. But Spurs needed a change and bringing a gaffer like Conte to the helm is a mꦚove Levy could not turn down.
