‘Snap him up’: Newcastle fans react as PIF reportedly target Liverpool ace
A number of Newcastle fans have urged the Magpies hierarchy to make a move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
has claimed that Newcastle are eyeing the Anfield and Belgium marksman.
In addition, the outlet claims Origi may cost the Magpies – or any other suitors – as little as £7million.

Meanwhile, have reported that the 26-year-old is eager to remain in the Premier League.
Origi, who’s reportedly on the radar of several Italian clubs, could cost under £10million, added the outlet.
The Liverpool forward is a cult hero at Anfield thanks to a number of crucial goals in recent years.
However, he’s struggling for game time, and hasn’t even started in the Premier League this season.
Origi is out of contract in the summer, although it could automatically be extended by a year.
However, this depends on the number of league starts he makes this season.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are in dire need of bolstering their ranks, particularly up front.
Eddie Howe faces the prospect of losing Callum Wilson to a potentially long-term injury.
And with Newcastle in a relegation scrap, bringing in high-quality, PL-experienced players will be crucial.
Newcastle fans certainly want Origi on board – here’s what some have said on Twitter:
Without a doubt!

Genuinely think he’s got 15+ goals a season in him
An absolute steal, we also need someone else in (Bale) and perhaps given Wilsons injury woes, is it time to move him on?

100%. We need Premier League proven players to get us out of this mess, which is why players like Trippier, Digne, Aubameyang, Origi, etc are the way to go IMO

Miles better than Gayle, should snap him up for that price, can just imagine him and Wilson up top when Wilson returns 👍

If we could get Origi for anywhere near £10m I’d snap their hands off
— SmithNUFC (@smith_nufc)
Can picture Tripps taking a quick free kick and Origi tapping it in against Barca now

Origi is a baller and one that already knows the PL. He’s a plug n play player. No-brainer for me!
