Sky Sports reporter shares exciting Rutter to Leeds transfer update
Leeds United have reportedly made a significant breakthrough in their pursuit of Georginio Rutter.
Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg says there is “total agreement” between the Whites and Hoffenheim.
Over the past few days, speculation linking Leeds and Rutter intensified significantly.

Yesterday, Fabrizio Romano told that the final details were being sorted between Leeds and Hoffenheim.
Now, Plettenberg has taken to Twitter to claim that this hurdle has also been surmounted.
Rutter will sign a contract at Elland Road until 2028, with Leeds set to pay around £34million, suggested the reporter.
“Hard poker yesterday about financial details but now there is a total agreement between the clubs,” he said.
“Been told it’s a total package of possible €40m transfer fee. Contract until 2028!
“Announcements of the clubs are prepared.”
Leeds and Rutter investing in one another
Leeds fans will no doubt be buzzing at this report, suggesting it won’t be long before the all-important Leeds official statement emerges.
Rutter is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in the Bundesliga and looks like he has a great future in the game.
And a contract until 2028 means both parties are really investing in one another, which is also great to see.

Leeds are currently battling Premier League relegation, but a contract that long for a player that talented shows they have faith in the Whites surviving in the top flight.
Leeds already have one top attacking talent in their ranks in Wilfried Gnonto.
Now it looks as though another will be joining.
Rutter will no doubt be an exciting signing for Leeds and hopefully he’ll hit the ground running for Jesse Marsch’s side.
