‘I’ve just been given a text’: Sky Sports reporter hints at deadline day exit for Liverpool player
Liverpool might have signed Luis Diaz this week but that doesn’t mean that their transfer business this month is over with just over 24 hours remaining in the window.
The Reds have snatche Diaz from the clutches of Tottenham and confirmed his arrival today. The winger has penned a long-term deal and will wear the number 23 shirt at Anfield. However, Diaz’s arrival has raised questions about the futures of a number of other players in the Liverpool ranks. One of whom, is Divock Origi.
Much like the last windows, Origi has been linked with an exit from Liverpool. However, he has stayed put once again this January and until now, has looked nailed on to remain at Anfield. But according to Sky Sports this evening, that could all be about to change.

Speaking live on air, Sky Sports’ has revealed that Origi could indeed be on his way out of the club.
“I’ve just been given a text from a contact of mine, tomorrow there could be a twist with Divock Origi (leaving),” Sheth said on tonight.
Origi has cemented himself as a Liverpool hero without ever being a regular. Crucial goals in Champions League ties, Premier League games, and Merseyside derbies have ensured he’ll never be forgotten at Anfield.
TBR’s View: Origi To Prove Himself Elsewhere
You would be hard pushed to find a Liverpool fan out there who will begrudge Origi a move away. Most would like to see him do well, and they’ll wish him all the best if he does go.
This update from Sheth is an interesting one mind. It seems there might well have been a late move from someone, who clearly believe Origi can get the goals.
With Diaz signed, Origi’s chances are even more limited now. Certainly, he is a player who would get more minutes at another club.
