Leeds United star Wilfried Gnonto scored as the Whites ran out 2-0 winners at Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night.
The 20-year-old got his sixth Championship goal of the season, and seventh in all competitions, as Leeds climbed into the automatic promotion places.
In the 58th minute, Georginio Rutter split the Wednesday defence open with a cushioned ball to Gnonto, who raced through on goal and fired home.
Sky Sports pundit Andy Hinchcliffe, covering the game live, loved what he saw from the Italian and sung his praises.

“They’ve opened up Sheff Wed a couple of times tonight, it’s too easy for Gnonto,” he said, as per the Sky Sports .
“Everyone for Sheff Wed is looking at the ball, no-one is tracking the run. It’s too easy, you cannot allow quality strikers that much time and space on goal.
“Gnonto picked over Dan James tonight. Why? This is why…”
Leeds remain second in Championship table after Ipswich collapse
Gnonto’s goal helped Leeds double their lead after Patrick Bamford had netted his seventh goal in 10 league games on the stroke of half-time.
There was even better news for Leeds as Ipswich Town, who the Whites leapfrogged on Friday night, lost their Saturday fixture at Cardiff City.
And it’s not as though it was a routine defeat. The Blues were leading 1-0 well into stoppage time, before Cardiff scored in the fifth and then the 10th minute of injury time.
The Elland Road side is marching on and they’ll fancy their chances of automatic promotion this season.
And it’s great to see Gnonto continue to impress. If everything goes according to plan, he and Leeds will be back in the Premier League and he’ll get the chance to shine on the big stage once again.
