‘He just gets better and better’: Sky Sports pundit blown away by one Leeds player v Chelsea

Sky Sports co-commentator, Don Goodman, was all over the performance of Leeds winger Jack Harrison against Chelsea today.

The Leeds star produced a masterclass in wing play as he created and scored one for Jesse Marsch’s side. It was a masterful display from Harrison, who will be making a big impression on the England camp as we head towards the World Cup in Qatar.

Harrison has been in fine form in the opening three games of the campaign, so his performance today was not really surprising. And speaking about the former Manchester City man on , Don Goodman admitted he is more impressed with Harrison every time he sees him.

“Some outstanding performances all over the park but that man right there. He just gets better and better. I said when I looked at him before the kick off he gets better and what that graphic doesn’t show you is the work that he does without the ball,” Goodman when given Harrison the MOTM award.

After losing Raphinha in the summer, Harrison has stepped up to the plate to become the main man out wide for Leeds.

TBR’s View: Jack Harrison Flying For Leeds

There has always been flashes from Harrison in a Leeds shirt but the key has always been consistency and he seems to be finding that right now.

If he can continue in this sort of form then there is no way Gareth Southgate can ignore him much longer. Harrison has been outstanding and his pace, trickery and final product is all very eye-catching.

For Leeds, this was just what they wanted from both Harrison and the XI in general. All of the team seem to be onboard with Jesse Marsch’s way of thinking and weirdly, Marcelo Bielsa seems a thing of the distant past.
