Sky Sports presenter shares update on Chelsea signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United
Chelsea are busy on deadline day and could now be edging closer to landing Jadon Sancho before the 11pm deadline hits.
The Blues have had another manic window and it doesn’t look like slowing down as they aim to get a number of deals done before the deadline if possible.
As we know, they are trying to offload Raheem Sterling.
Arsenal are keen on Sterling and there have been suggestions the England winger is open to a move to the Gunners.
However, for Chelsea, they still want to replace Sterling and Jadon Sancho has been mentioned as a Blues target.
And now, it looks like Chelsea are indeed edging closer to landing Sancho.

Chelsea move forward with Jadon Sancho move
Speaking live on Rob Wootton has said that there appears to have been some movement on Chelsea’s move for Sancho.
“Hold onto your hats. Inevitably it involves Chelsea. Right, here we go, they’re edging closer to an agreement with Manchester United we’re hearing over the signing of Jadon Sancho,”
“There has been further talks. Permanent and loan options on the table. Ideally, what we understand is Chelsea need to offload players. Raheem Sterling, as we know, one of a number of players being offered up while United, we hear, are open to Sterling joining.”
Surely United take the Sterling swap?
It’s no surprise to see Jadon Sancho leaving but it is a surprise to see Chelsea going for him when they are moving Sterling on.
Surely, then, United try and get Sterling as a replacement here? It makes no sense to let Sancho go when Sterling is on the market and not try and do this deal.
This one could go down to the wire but once again, it’s another spanner in the works on deadline day.
Quite whether Sancho can do the business at Chelsea remains to be seen. However, a fresh start could work and you just never know in football.
