Sky Sports journalist shares what West Ham have told him about deadline day plans
West Ham United have enjoyed a fruitful summer on the transfer front, bringing in nine players over the past few months.
The Hammers hit the ground running in June as they quickly wrapped up the signings of Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.
West Ham then got three more signings done early in August, as Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez all joined.
The Hammers have since signed two more senior players, landing Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United.
In addition, West Ham recently secured the signature of Paris FC midfielder Mohamadou Kante, who will remain at the French club on loan this season.
With transfer deadline day now looming, clubs have one final chance to make more signings and offload players until the window reopens in January.
Sky Sports News journalist James Green has now shared what West Ham have told him regarding any potential late transfer business.

West Ham late business ‘unlikely but not impossible’
Green, speaking on Sky Sports News on Thursday, said he was told that, while nothing can be ruled out, it’s not likely that any more players will come in.
“In terms of transfer I spoke to the club this morning and they said unlikely but not impossible,” said Green.
“This is a club who has been very active in the transfer window, signing no fewer than nine players but with just 36 hours left they say it could be pretty tricky to get some deals in.
“But they are not ruling anything out. If they think it will benefit and propel the team forward they are willing to do business.”

What Fabrizio Romano has said about West Ham ahead of deadline day
Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten have not wasted any time in the market this season, making many top signings to strengthen the spine of the team.
Since West Ham have already brought in so many new players, it wouldn’t be too bad if no new signings came in through the door.
However, Fabrizio Romano has hinted there could potentially be some more incoming business on the cards for West Ham – if they can get players out the door.
“If conditions are right and if they can get the outgoings done, I think it’s a possibility [to sign another forward],” Romano told .
“It’s really important for West Ham now to sell players because, obviously, they have had an exciting summer with many signings.
“But it’s really, really important for them to sell players. That’s absolutely, absolutely crucial. So, there will be a conversation about that and about potential options.”
