Sky Sports journalist shares update on Noussair Mazraoui, amid claims he could sign for Manchester United over West Ham
Manchester United appear to be at the front of the queue to sign Noussair Mazraoui now after West Ham apparently dipped out of the race.
The Red Devils are looking for a new full-back this summer and are keen to keep adding to the squad.
Reports this afternoon have suggested that United are now targeting a £17m move for Mazraoui, after talks with West Ham reached an abrupt end.
Of course, that doesn’t quite mean a deal for Mazraoui is done and dusted.
There is still a lot to be agreed including a fee, personal terms, and the current structure of the United squad.
Indeed, speaking on Sky Sports just now, Dharmesh Sheth has suggested that the future of Aaron Wan Bissaka is going to be key to Mazraoui signing.

Journalist provides Noussair Mazraoui to Manchester United update
Speaking for , Sheth provided an update on the situation with Mazraoui and suggested things could very much centre around what happens with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
“West Ham’s move for Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui has broken down. An agreement had been reached between the clubs but it’s thought financials and details around the contract couldn’t be agreed upon,” Sheth said.
“West Ham are now pursuing other targets. This summer, they have held talks with Manchester United over Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Southampton over Kyle Walker-Peters.
“Man Utd remain interested in Mazraoui and talks are ongoing with Bayern Munich. The future of Wan-Bissaka is key to the arrival of any potential right-back arrivals.”
Quite whether this one gets over the line, remains to be seen.
However, it does seem like West Ham have left the door wide open here for Manchester United.
Old Trafford chiefs have done their business quickly this summer when needed and should Mazraoui fancy the move, then there’s every chance this one gets nudged along.
