Sky Sports journalist says ‘explosive’ player is now ‘on his way’ to Leeds
Leeds United have had a difficult summer on the transfer front, but it looks as though they’re now closing in on an exciting signing.
Over the past few months, the Whites have sold eight players, while a further seven have left on free transfers and two more have left on loan.
In particular, losing the likes of Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter to Premier League clubs has been a bitter pill to swallow for Leeds.
However, over the past few hours, there has been a breakthrough regarding an “explosive” attacking target for the Elland Road side.
Now, Sky Sports journalist Tim Thornton has provided a further update on said player.

Largie Ramazani is on his way to Leeds
The player in question is Largie Ramazani, who is now closing in on a move to Leeds from Spanish side Almeria.
Fabrizio Romano reported that the Whites have agreed a package worth around €11.7million (£10million), with Almeria retaining a 15% sell-on clause.
Romano said medical tests were booked for Ramazani, though he didn’t provide a time frame.
Now, according to Thornton, they could take place very soon, as the player is now making his way to Yorkshire.
The reporter said on that “Ramazani is understood to be on his way to Leeds to finalise the move.”
Who is Leeds target Largie Ramazani?
Largie Ramazani is a 23-year-old winger who came through the ranks at Manchester United before joining Almeria in 2020.
He helped the Andalusian outfit back into La Liga and scored his first Spanish top-flight goal in a 2-1 loss to Real Madrid in September 2022.
Ramazani has registered 21 goals and nine assists in all competitions for Almeria, including three goals and five assists in La Liga last term.
However, he couldn’t help prevent his side drop back into the Spanish second tier and, with his contract expiring next year, a move was always on the cards.
Jacek Kulig of Football Talent Scout has described Ramazani as an “explosive winger” with “electric pace and acceleration”, even deeming him a “Mini-Vinicius”.
Ramazani predominantly plays on the left wing, and Leeds seemingly view him as a replacement for Summerville.
