Sky reporter claims Chairman had meetings after Spurs talks but didn’t go, as deal now ‘agreed’

According to , FC Metz Chairman Bernard Serin has held some seriously productive talks with Tottenham regarding Pape Sarr.
What’s the story?
Well, whatever Spurs said to Serin in the meeting on Monday must’ve been pretty strong.
Solhekol adds that the 18-year-old will arrive in N17 on a six-year deal, which signals a real show of faith in the teenager from Tottenham.
Whether it was Daniel Levy, Fabio Paratici or both involved in negotiations, they’ve done a fine job.
When will Tottenham fans see Pape Sarr?

Sadly, Tottenham supporters might have to wait to see the Senegal international play.
Why? Well, Solhekol adds that Sarr will return to FC Metz on loan as part of the agreement.
That may annoy some fans, but it’s for the best.
Sarr is in a delicate stage of his development, and disrupting his rhythm would be a foolish thing to do.

Despite his age, he made appearances for FC Metz last season, and it’s vital that he continues to receive regular first-team football.
In north London, with more competition for places, Nuno might not be able to guarantee him regular action.
As a result, it’s a very wise move to send Sarr back to FC Metz, in our view.
