Sky pundit thinks many won’t have heard of ‘fantastic’ Liverpool player before this season
Clinton Morrison has named the ‘magnificent’ Liverpool player he believes many would not have heard of before this season.
The Reds go into Christmas second in the 🌳Premier League table following their 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Saturday. The result certainly whets the appetite for the 𝔍rest of the campaign with neither Jurgen Klopp’s men nor the Gunners finding their best form yet.
One player who has been really impressive so far has been Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungarian joined the Reds in the summer after impressing with the likes of Red Bull Salzburg and RB ﷽Leipzig.
Clinton Morrison names Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai as his signing of the season so far
Szoboszlai was arguably one of the best players in the Premier League🐻 in the opening we♍eks of the season. And while his form did dip more recently, ꧙the 23-year-old looks to be a brillian🧸t addition to the Reds’ ranks.

Certainly, Clinton Morrison has been hugely impressed by Szoboszlai, telling (broadcast 🎃on 24/12; 16:26) that he has been his signing ofღ the season so far.
“Szoboszlai. Listen, mine was close, really close between two. I just put him ahead of Mohammed Kudus,༒ who’s been outstanding at West Ham, I think he will be a superstar. But this guy has been magnificent,” he said.
“I can guarantee a 💜lot of people didn’t know who he was before he came in, he was at RB Leipzig. But the goals he’s scored, fantastic. He’s going to be brilliant for Liverpool.”
Reds have a potential stalwart for the next 10 years
Perhaps Szoboszlai may not have been a household name before this season, but he was certainly a player ꦑa lot of clubs had their eye on.
Liver✤pool were the only team wi💎lling to pay Szoboszlai’s release clause. And that decision 🗹is lookinꦦg like a masterstroke right now.
The Reds remain a work in progress. They arguably need to sign another holding midfielder at some st꧟age. And Jurgen Klopp has probably got a few injury headaches.
But Sz📖oboszlai looks to have every chance of being a star of the Liverpool side for the next decade.
