Sky pundit says Newcastle would love to sign 28-year-old from Bayern Munich

Clinton Morrison has given his verdict on speculation linking Joshua Kimmich with Newcastle United.

The Sky Sports pundit has also given his take on rumours that Bayern Munich want to sign Kieran Trippier from Newcastle.

So, what has been said about Newcastle United and Joshua Kimmich? Let’s take a look.

Joshua Kimmich linked with Newcastle United

Well, there is speculation involving two players, ꧒Newcastle United and Bayern Munich♏.

Bild journalist Christian Falk reported last week that Newcastle𝄹 United want to sign Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich and have alreadꦫy made an approach.

Kimmich, who can play as a midfielder or as a right-back, is one of the best players in the world, and I think that it is quite ambitious of Newcastle to think𓂃 that they could be able to convince the 28-year-old to make the move to St. James’ Park.

Then over the weekend, it was reported that Bayern are keen on signing ෴former Tottenham Hotspur righ📖t-back Kieran Trippier from Newcastle.

has reported that Bayern are plꦇanning a new bid after their initial offer was turned down. Trippier himself is keen on a transfer to the German club, but he is not going to force a move through.

A has also been mooted, and while former Crystal Palace forward Clinton 🍎Morrison thinks that such a deal would benefit both parties, he cannot see it happening, noting that Bayern will not sell Kimmich.

Morrison said on : “It’s good for both teams. Let me tell you, Kimmich is a good player, but I don’t think he is going anywhℱere.

“He is one of their best midfielders. They play him in midfield, he was originally a right-back, but he has made tha🐼t midfield his own. I think Newcastle would be happy and Bayern Munich would be happy.”

My View: Newcastle United unlikely to sign Joshua Kimmich

In my opinion, Newcastle United is 😼not going to be able to sign Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich.

I do not see Bayern selling Kimmich in the middle of the season. With clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United keen on the 28-y🙈ear-old, I do not envisage the Germany international turning them dow🐬n to join Newcastle, who are unlikely to win the Premier League titlಌe anytime soon or even get into the top four this season.
