‘Sissoko upgrade’: Some Spurs fans react to links with £27m ‘complete midfielder’
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have given their thoughts on the report claiming Spurs are still interested in Marcel Sabitzer heading towards the January transfer window.
Back in March, the same outlet claimed that Jose Mourinho was eager to lure the then £44million-rated RB Leipzig midfielder to Spurs.
also linked Tottenham and Sabitzer together in March, as well as North London rivals Arsenal.

Sabitzer stayed put in the end, but in January, he’ll have 18 months left on his contract, so time is ticking for the Bundesliga side to cash in were he to turn down a new deal.
According to ‘s latest report, the Austria international – who can play on the wing and centrally – is still on Tottenham’s wish list, and is valued at around €30million (£27million).
Aside from the prior speculation linking Tottenham and Sabitzer, Spurs fans will also be familiar with the player from his goalscoring heroics when the two teams last met.
On 10 March, he scored a brace to help Leipzig run out 3-0 winners over Mourinho’s side in Germany and knock the North Londoners out of the last 16 of the Champions League.

Although Sabitzer has missed a couple of games this season due to injury, he is back to full fitness and captaining Leipzig, with two goals and one assist from .
To date, the 26-year-old has made 194 competitive appearances for the club, his return marking him out as one of the most dangerous midfielders in Germany.
