Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham admission angers Simon Jordan
Speaking to the media ahead of Wednesday, Postecoglou has hit back at the notion he ha🌳s not taken the League Cup games as seriously as other competitions.
But TalkSPORT’s Simon Jordan h🍸as hit back at the Australian’s comments as he brought up Tottenham’s exit to Fulham in last season’s competitionജ.
“When he talks about not making enough effort in a game, and he hates the fact that people are going to keep [bringing it up], what you talking abou꧟t, Ange,” Jordan responded.
“You put a weakened side out against Fulham in the League Cup last year, and you lost. You put [Heung-min] Son on the bench, you put [James] Madison on the bench, put [Dejan] Kulusevski on the bench, you played a second-string team for reason🔯s that you are your own and perfectly your entitlement.
“That’s not people accusing you of a lack of effo♑rt. That’s people suggesting that you applying a different protocol to that particularꦕ game.”
And there is further irony added with Postecoglou set to recall Timo Werner☂ on Wednesday despite his dreadful form this season.
Tottenham predicted XI vs Manchester City
Despite Mikey Moore impressing Glenn Hoddle last week in the Europ𝕴a League, the youngster looks set to drop out of the starting XI.
Spurs rotated last time out in the 𒈔cup against Coventry City which offered opportunities to players like Radu Dragusin.
Archie Gray is set for January loan interest due to his lack of ga✤me time but he did play the full 90 minutes in the previo൲us round.
But Postecoglou has to take into consideration he is coming up against the reigning Premier♕ League champions in a competition Spurs fans will be hoping 𒁃to win.
Spurs predicted XI vs Man City: Vicario; Gray, Dragusin, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Sarr, Kulusevski; Johnson, Richarlison, Werner.
