‘Signed his contract with Tottenham’: Romano says Spurs have just got deadline day deal over the line
Tottenham Hotspur have got the Rodrigo Bentancur deal over the line, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The midfielder is one of two Juventus players seemingly joining Spurs in the January transfer window.
Sky Sports on Sunday that Tottenham had agreed deals with Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski.

They claimed the Uruguay international would be doing his medical remotely from his homeland.
Bentancur is currently preparing to face Venezuela with his national team on Tuesday.
And on Monday afternoon, Romano tweeted about the imminent completion of the “midfielders’ domino” involving Juve.
Bentancur has “signed his contract with Tottenham”, joining for “€19m plus €6m fee” (around £16m plus £5m fee).
Meanwhile, Denis Zakaria has reportedly completed his medical with the Italian outfit.
And Aaron Ramsey must now decide whether to join Rangers.
The Scottish champions reportedly have an agreement with Juve for a loan with option to buy.
Bentancur has made 18 starts in all competitions for Juve this season, providing three assists.
As well as Spurs, Aston Villa were reportedly keen to sign the 24-year-old.
However, they saw a £20.5million offer rejected by Juventus earlier this month, according to Sky in Italy.
Fabio Paratici, Tottenham’s managing director of football, oversaw the Bentancur’s Juve signing from Boca Juniors in 2017.
