Vlasic joined the Hammers from CSKA Moscow on transfer deadline day last summer.

To date, the Croatia international has made 19 appearances for West Ham, claiming one goal and two assists.

Vlasic has needed a little time to find his feet in a new country and in the Premier League.

However, he’s now starting to really get to grips with life in the English top flight.

The 24-year-old got his first West Ham goal in the 4-1 win over Watford in late December.

Vlasic also delivered encouraging performances against Norwich last time out and Leeds in the FA Cup.

Redknapp singled the player out for his display against the Elland Road side.

“The two boys from the Czech Republic have been terrific and I liked the look of Nikola Vlasic last Sunday,” he told the Hammers .

“He showed some fine touches and that performance against Leeds in the FA Cup tie will have done him a world of good.”

West Ham will fancy their chances against Leeds on Sunday and will hope to cement their position in the top four.

David Moyes has shown a real Midas touch at the London Stadium and hopefully he can continue to work his magic on Vlasic.
