‘Should take the points’: Mark Lawrenson makes Brighton v Leeds prediction
Brighton and Leeds United are in Premier League action on the south coast this afternoon.
The hosts have struggled in recent weeks, without a win in seven league games, while Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites remain close to the relegation zone.
However, there was cause for Leeds to be optimistic last week, as they did well in the first half against Spurs.

That said, their eventual 2-1 defeat means the Elland Road outfit is still just two points above the drop zone in 17th place.
Brighton are ninth and are at home, so it’ll be a tough game for Leeds.
However, BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson is confident that the Whites will triumph at the Amex.
“It’s been a while since Brighton have won – seven league games to be precise,” he wrote on the BBC Sport .
“The Seagulls didn’t seem to create a lot of chances when they were beating teams, but the difference is that they were taking the ones they did get.
Leeds have been struggling a bit too but looked a bit more like their old selves, in the first half anyway, against Tottenham last week.
“If they carry on improving then they should take the points here.”
Lawrenson went on to predict a 2-0 win for Bielsa and co.
