Sherwood says Harry Kane will not have slept after Tottenham win
Tim Sherwood that Harry Kane will not have slept despite helping Tottenham Hotspur beat West Ham on Sunday, after missing a golden chance in the 3-1 victory.
Kane was the star of the show as Spurs beat the Hammers. He set up all three goals for Antonio Conte’s men, with two of those goals being scored by Son Heung-min.

The first assist for the South Korean was absolutely outrageous. He was pulling the strings as if he was one of the Premier League’s best playmakers.
There was one disappointment for Kane in the Tottenham win however. Conte suggested afterwards that it was a pity that he did not score himself. He certainly had a couple of chances.

It would have stunned many when he put one opportunity over the bar during the second-half. Certainly, Son noted that he was disappointed for the Englishman. And Sherwood claimed that the result will do little to appease Kane.
“(Kane) will not sleep tonight because of that chance. Sonny talked about it in his interview, I feel sorry for my pal in there, we scored three goals and he hasn’t scored one,” .
“First and foremost the team has got to win, they’ve got maximum points and he will say why haven’t I scored. He will be analysing every chance he had to score there tonight.”
Tottenham rivals put on notice with Kane disappointed in victory
Tottenham look to be the biggest threat to Arsenal’s place inside the top-four. Certainly, Spurs are making big strides forward under Conte.
It is going to be fascinating to see how the race plays out after the international break. There is, of course, one more North London derby to play.
What will alarm Spurs’ rivals is Conte’s men winning without Kane showing his best form in front of goal. He has been outstanding for several weeks now.
And he is likely to now feel that he has a big point to prove.
