Sheffield Wednesday fans furious with Moses Odubajo after Derby draw

Sheffield Wednesday missed out on the chance to climb the Championship table with a 1-1 draw against Derby County.

Steven Fletcher’s first-half goal put the Owls in front but Chris Martin struck from the penalty spot with eight minutes remaining.

The Owls were forced to play the last few minutes with 10-men. Moses Odubajo was dismissed for hauling down a Rams player when already on a booking.

It means the former Brentford man will miss the trip to the City Ground. Sam Hutchinson also misses out after picking up his tenth booking of the campaign.

Odubajo’s error of judgement could have cost Wednesday more than it did.

The 26-year-old has only been back in the team for the last four games having spent some time on the bench.

He must now look on as someone else plays in his place on Saturday and must be wondering whether he will win his place back.

Following his clumsy dismissal, Wednesday fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration at the full-back.
