Sheffield United supporters react as Arsenal reportedly remain keen on Sander Berge
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge and have retained an interest after being previously linked with the Norwegian before his move to Bramall Lane – prompting reaction from Blades fans on Twitter.
Berge, 22, was constantly linked with the Premier League and other European heavyweights before finally swapping Belgian side KRC Genk for Sheffield United – a somewhat surprising move given interest in his services from bigger clubs.
Costing £22million (), Berge joined for a club-record fee which has since been eclipsed by Rhian Brewster. He has been a regular for the Blades, in a lockdown-ravaged year. But in his 26 games, he has certainly impressed.

Certainly, many Blades fans believe Berge has been their best player this season – starting all but one of their nine Premier League matches. Sheffield United’s poor form, though, might have Berge looking over his shoulder for interest.
Indeed, Sheffield United have just one point from nine games. that Arsenal tried to sign Berge in January but have remained interested in the 6ft 5in star since his move to England – and could go after him in January.
Blades fans have reacted to the reported news that Arsenal could go after their colossal midfielder – and while many are keen to keep him at the club, some understand that a move to the Emirates could be too good for him to turn down.
