Sheffield United fans react to reported bid for Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun
A number of Sheffield United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that Arsenal have rejected the Blades’ bid for Folarin Balogun.
Chris Wilder is continuing his search for a new striker this summer. And it appears that the Gunners man has been on his radar.

that United offered an initial £3 million for the 19-year-old. It was noted that the bid also included add-ons.
However, the Mail adds that Arsenal rejected the bid. It was suggested that the Gunners want a deal worth £15 million for the striker, who is still yet to make his first-team debut for Mikel Arteta’s side.

There seems to have been a mixed reaction from some of the Sheffield United fans on social media.
Some believe that Arsenal’s asking price is too high and have implored the club to look elsewhere. As things stand, he will be available on a free transfer next summer.
Others however, are extremely excited about the links. Balogun’s record for Arsenal’s youngsters is superb. And they believe that they should improve their offer in case he ultimately ends up moving elsewhere before the window closes.
Here is how some of the Sheffield United fans have reacted to the reported interest in the Gunners man…
£15m no way are they getting that for someone who has played 1st team football. Rather us bid for Brewster

Pay the money, the kid is worth it and I can’t stress that enough.

Not sure what’s more daft. That we think we can get a highly rated player out of a big six academy for £3m or that Arsenal value him at £15m.

This would be serious business

15 mill for a player who hasn’t touched first team football they can do one😂

Get him in year? Anyway. Pleased to see that we are looking at genuinely young players who could be the stars of tomorrow rather than those 23/24 who CW claims to be young players. Done it in Norway? as well. Don’t forget our lower leagues though
