Sheffield United fans react as Rangers midfielder John Lundstram struggles in Champions League clash
John Lundstram has been heavily criticised for his performance as Rangers lost 2-1 to Swedish side Malmo on Tuesday. In Sweden, the Gers failed to recover from an awful start to the second half. Sheffield United fans discusses Lundstram and his display, after his first Rangers start.
Lundstram, 27, joined Rangers on a free transfer after his contract at Sheffield United came to an end. He left on bad terms, with Sheffield United fans criticising him for a lack of effort in the club’s second season in the Premier League. It saw him move north of the border, joining Rangers.

What are Sheffield United fans saying about Lundstram and his display for Rangers?
The midfielder started in the middle of the park on Tuesday night, his first competitive start for the Gers. They took on Swedish outfit Malmo, but suffered defeat – conceding two goals in two minutes after the restart. Steven Davis got one back in the 95th minute to give Rangers a lifeline.
But Lundstram was poor. On numerous occasions, Rangers fans noticed that he let his man run off him. Sheffield United supporters picked up on their criticism of Lundstram. Many Blades fans have told Rangers supporters to expect much more of it over the coming months.
