Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk, and the Ukrainian’s club, Shakhtar Donetsk, appear to be teasing Gunners supporters on Twitter now.
Mikel Arteta and Edu are really pushing to sign Mudryk, who is their priority target in this month’s transfer window. The 22-year-old is really keen as well, having publicly admitted his desire to join Arsenal.
A deal is now reportedly closer than ever to being completed (), and Shakhtar have just posted a tweet that is causing some excitement among Arsenal supporters.

Shakhtar have been playing hardball with Arsenal in negotiations for Mudryk for weeks now.
The Ukrainian giants have rejected two offers from the Gunners already, but reports have revealed that there is optimism that Arsenal’s third bid – which to be worth €70 million (£62m) plus add-ons – will go through.
It was claimed last night that Edu has flown over to meet with Shakhtar and close a deal, and the Ukrainian outfit, who have been posting plenty of pictures of Mudryk in training recently, have just pushed out a tweet that has excited Arsenal supporters.
Without any hint about what they are talking about, this morning that read: “We prepared some news for you today!”
We don’t know what the news is, but the replies are flooded with comments from Arsenal supporters, with many thinking the ‘news’ could be an announcement about Mudryk’s transfer.
