Serge Gnabry sends four-word tweet Arsenal fans will love after scoring against Tottenham

Former Arsenal man Serge Gnabry scored against Tottenham yesterday as Bayern Munich won out in a pre-season friendly.

Gnabry got the second goal as Bayern eventually won 3-2 against Spurs in an entertaining clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Dejan Kulusevski scored twice for Tottenham, while Dayot Upamecano and the evergreen Thomas Muller netted for Bayern.

However, it was the goal from Gnabry which was a particular talking point.

As we all know, Gnabry is a former Gunner who never quite got going at The Emirates but he clearly enjoyed his little moment of finding the net against Spurs.

And after the game, Gnabry took to social media to post just four words what Arsenal fans were loving.

Serge Gnabry sends message after scoring against Tottenham

Taking to X to show his obvious delight at netting, Gnabry posted a simple message.

Of course, a quick glance at the comments underneath told the whole story as a number of Arsenal fans lauded him, while some Spurs fans had a dig back.

Could Serge Gnabry come back to England?

Coincidentally, Gnabry has been linked with a move back to the Premier League for pretty much every transfer window in living memory.

Indeed, even this summer we have seen Newcastle linked with a move for Gnabry, while even Arsenal themselves are thought to hold an interest in bringing Gnabry back.

As yet, it looks like Gnabry will be staying in Munich and reports in Germany have suggested Vincent Kompany very much wants to keep his man.

Clearly, just looking at his well-taken goal and performance yesterday, Gnabry is still a capable player at the highest level.

But rest assured, if he does stay with Bayern this season, that come this time next year, someone in the Premier League will be linked with a move for the winger.
