‘Second to none’… Thierry Henry raves about 23-year-old West Ham player vs Arsenal last night
Thierry Henry has heaped praise on West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus for his performance against Arsenal last night.
David Moyes had never beaten Arsenal at the Emirates, but his winless run finally came to an end yesterday thanks to goals from Tomas Soucek and Dinos Mavropanos. Kudus, who started on the right wing, had a fantastic game too.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry praises West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus
West Ham deserve a lot of praise for the way they performed against Arsenal last night.
The Hammers knew they would get battered if they went toe-to-toe against Mikel Arteta‘s side. So, they came in with a plan and executed it perfectly.
Every Irons player on the pitch worked hard and together for the cause. They sat deep and just didn’t let Arsenal penetrate their low block.
As an outlet in attack, Mohammed Kudus performed very well, and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was really impressed with his display.
He said on after the game: “The amount of times Mohammed Kudus kept the ball and allowed his team to play higher was second to none.
“They have done very well with the money they got from the transfer of Declan Rice [to Arsenal].”

Kudus has been an amazing signing for West Ham
West Ham United signed Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer in a deal worth at least £38 million ().
The Ghanaian was only a substitute in West Ham’s first six Premier League games of the season. David Moyes gave him the time he needed to settle in, and since then, he has started every game.
Kudus has scored nine goals already for the Hammers. He is proving to be an amazing signing, but Moyes will have to do without him for a few weeks.
The 23-year-old is expected to join up with Ghana’s national team for the African Cup of Nations next month. He will be a big miss, and it will be interesting to see how West Ham will fare without him.
