Celtic moved to the top of the Scottish Premiership with a routine 3-0 home win over Motherwell on Wednesday night, but it may have come at a major cost.
The Bhoys went into the contest with just one senior option at striker in the shape of Odsonne Edouard, but he was forced off injured in the first-half and replaced by youngster Mikey Johnston.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has that Edouard will be assessed in the next 24 hours after a tight feeling around his thigh.
The Scottish giants will now have to wait for an assessment of the French centre-forward, but they need a plan in case he is to miss any of the upcoming fixtures.
Celtic still have three league fixtures remaining in 2018 and need to try extend their lead at the top of the table.
Scott Sinclair should be the answer for Rodgers if the striker problem worsens and is a senior player capable of stepping up at Parkhead.
