Scott Parker hails Dominic Solanke amid Tottenham links
Well, the man who made appearances for Spurs actually managed the England international at Bournemouth – and still thinks very highly of his old talisman.
Parker’s glowing comments come amid a story from – which claimed that Spurs are keen to sign Solanke.
The man from Lambeth : “Unbelievable professional. Works on his craft day in, day out. A player who is deadly in and around the box. Can finish off both feet. He’s a modern day No.9 who presses from the front, high energy. This season, he’s been clinical.”

Solanke has enjoyed a fantastic campaign for Bournemouth, scoring goals in 28 appearances – while also providing four assists.
Dominic Solanke would thrive under Ange Postecoglou
In our view, the man would be an ideal striker for Postecoglou.
Solanke – like Parker said – is a modern No.9 who can combine traditional hold up play with smart movement and sharp finishing.
Richarlison has done a fine job at No.9 for Tottenham this season, although the Brazilian is by no means a target man type like the 26-year-old, and would arguably be better served playing off someone like the Englishman.

Tottenham even enquired about Solanke during the January transfer window – according to – so there does appear to be genuine admiration for the man from Basingstoke, who is also believed to be a target for West Ham.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation heading into the summer, as Tottenham could firm up their interest with a bid.
