Schalke hint at Kolasinac transfer as on-loan Arsenal defender is not listed as departing player
Bundesliga side Schalke 04 have seemingly hinted that Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac could be joining the club on a permanent deal following a statement from the German team.
Whilst nothing has been confirmed from either Schalke or Arsenal, the German side, who were relegated from the German top-flight this season, the list of players who will be leaving the team in the summer, including the loan players who will be returning to their parent clubs, with Kolasinac missing from the list.
In total, ten players will leave Schalke this summer following their relegation to Bundesliga.2, with former Arsenal man Shkodran Mustafi one of the names departing the club in the coming weeks.
Kolasinac has one year left on his current Arsenal deal, with the Bosnian international likely to leave the north London club this summer as . Schalke sporting director Peter Knabel has already stated his intent to sign the left-back permanently .

Arsenal are keen to shift off Kolasinac, with the defender reportedly earning £100,000-a-week , and moving on a player with this much of a financial package could be a huge relief for the Gunners.
The north London side are eager to trim the squad down as per the football.london report, and with Kolasinac taking up a lot of space on the payroll, Arsenal could be working behind the scenes to hash out a deal with Schalke for the German giants to take the defender off their hands for good in the summer.
With Kolasinac having a good relation with Schalke, as well, there is a good chance the 27-year-old left-back will be open to taking a sizeable wage cut to join the soon-to-be Bundesliga.2 club this summer permanently.
