‘Scared off De Bruyne’: Leeds fans react as Kalvin Phillips impresses for England against Belgium
Leeds United fans were loving it once again as Kalvin Phillips came on for England and had an immediate impact for the Three Lions.
Gareth Southgate’s men won 2-1 against the number one ranked team in the world thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount at Wembley.
However, it was the performance of Phillips when he came off the bench that caught the eye of a lot of England fans, including, of course, the onlooking and proud Leeds United supporters.
Phillips has shown in his couple of England appearances that he has what it takes at international level and he has gone a long way to go in proving some of the doubters wrong.
