Saudi club make approach to buy ‘devastating’ forward who Tottenham were pushing to sign
Tottenham Hotspur will now face competition from Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadsiah if they choose to continue their attempts to sign one forward.
Right now, it seems as if Ange Postecoglou’s second summer transfer window in north London is beginning to gather momentum.
This time last year, Postecoglou’s early weeks were being dominated by speculation regarding Harry Kane’s future.
Tottenham were conducting their business irrespective of the public saga but it was undoubtedly a distraction.
Fortunately, the same cannot be said a year later, and any departures will be on Spurs’ terms.
It seems as if Emerson Royal is edging closer to Tottenham exit – a player who doesn’t suit one particular role under Ange.
And although Spurs are having some difficulty finding a buyer for Richarlison, it wouldn’t be a problem were he to stay.
That being said, after sealing a deal for Archie Gray, Tottenham may now turn their attention to signing a new forward.
And after recent reports that Tottenham were pushing to sign Sevilla attacker Youssef En-Nesyri, it seems that any chase has just become much more complicated.
Saudi club now want to sign 20-goal Tottenham linked striker Youssef En-Nesyri
A host of English clubs have been linked with En-Nesyri who enjoyed a ‘devastating’ season for Sevilla, scoring 20 goals.
Tottenham were said to have the advantage of Manchester United for En-Nesyri – a player who West Ham United have also shown strong interest in.

However, according to journalist who shared the news on X, any interested clubs may now have to compete with Saudi side Al-Qadsiah.
The club have now approached Sevilla asking for more information about the Moroccan, who scored twice in the Champions League last season.
Galetti shared: “Al Qadsiah approached Sevilla asking for info on En Nesyri.
“The Saudi club is looking for a new striker and – after the attempt with Morata – is trying with the Moroccan – €20m bid could arrive soon.
“Also Fenerbahce interested, but stuck at €15m.”
It seems as if any negotiations are still in the very early stages, meaning the door could still be open for Tottenham were they still interested.
Of course, at the prices mentioned – which are driven down by En-Nesyri having just one-year left on his contract, the striker could be something of a bargain for interested clubs.
The 27-year-old has proven his credentials as a ‘big game player’ in the past, and the two-time Europa League winner looks primed to make an impact in England, should he ever get the chance.
